Growing up she always wanted to be so many different things, but she always loved to sing and act. She also loved gymnastics. Her parents could afford her classes, so she practiced in her back yard. Dulce also wanted to be a teacher, doctor, and businesswoman.
In high school, she has run into a bad company. Her grades were bad, she avoided classes, she felt ugly and started smoking pot, and she even thought about suicide. After high school, she joined the U.S. Army. In the beginning, Dulce was based in Fort Jackson, South Carolina. Then she moved to Aberdeen Proving Ground. She spent 13 weeks in Maryland before she was stationed in Fort Hood, Texas.
Tree months later she went to Iraq where she spent 15 months. Dulce stayed in Bagdad from 2006 to 2008. After three years of active duty, she moved to Los Angeles.
In 2008, she launched her YouTube channel and started creating videos. To wake up the feminine side of her personality she created makeup tutorials, do-it-yourself videos, cosmetics reviews, skincare routines e.t.c. In August 2009, Dulce appeared as a „Beauty Smartie“ in Seventeen Magazine, and as she said, that moment changed her life.

Watching some old videos we noticed that Candy used NuMe signature hairdryer. But, in some newer ones she said that she doesn`t use heat to dry her hair, so she uses Dyson Supersonic hairdryer in cold air mode. Occasionally she uses NuMe Magic Curling wand (25 mm, pink).
Income and Net worth
According to the „Socialblade.com“, from her YouTube channel, Dulce earns an estimated $867 – $13.9K in a year calculating the daily views and growth of subscribers. Her Spanish YouTube channel „DulceCandy TV“ earns $73 to $1.2K a year, but we can`t ignore the fact that she has 1.1 million followers on Instagram which implies much higher earnings.
