He has younger brother Jake Paul who is also YouTube celebrity. His channel and videos fall under comedy and vlog categories.

He started his influencer career while he was 10. Currently he has almost 19 million subscribers and earn over $1.000.000 per month.

Equipment and Gear

Logan Paul is known for his use of high-quality gear. On this page we have a list of equipment he uses for production of his videos, though some videos of his are produced by professional studios. Instruments and stuff used in those videos are beyond the scope of this article.

Cameras

Logan Paul uses three different cameras for his videos. For mobile and actions scenes he uses GoPro Hero5 action camera. For high quality outdoor videos and low light situations he uses full-frame mirrorless Sony A7S II camera. For vloggging videos from home, he uses Canon G7 X Mark II camera.

Lenses

He complemented his Sony A7S II mirrorless camera with two lenses. First one is Sony FE 24-70 mm F2.8. That lens is suitable for artistic, interview and walkaround videos. It has superb optical performance. It’s super sharp and beside videos it is extremely good for photography.

Second lens he has is Sony 16-35 mm T FE F4 ZA. Like the first it is one of the best lenses available for Sony E mount cameras. It’s wide, sharp and fast on focus. On top of everything it has excellent bokeh and it’s weather sealed. People use it for landscape photography but because of excellent dynamic range and wide apertures it’s excellent choice for indoor videography.

Microphones

In Logan videos we can see two microphones he uses. First one is Rode VideoMic Pro+ Microphone. It’s an average microphone which has habit to develop static noise, but if you are lucky to not experience noise, this mic is excellent performer. Logan also has Rode DDC-VMPR DeadCat Artificial Fur for outside wind noise suppression.

Second mic he uses is Blue Yeti condenser microphone. This mic is enjoying cult status among the YouTubers and it’s a piece of technology that will never let you down, and there is no need to mention its high quality.

Beside the first two he got the Asus ROG Magnus Condenser Mic for his Fortnite Twitch streaming needs.

Tripods

Through his videos we found only two tripods he uses. Both are JOBY GorillaPods where first one is the model for action cams and second one is the model for much heavier DSLR and mirrorless cameras.

Mouse / Mices / Pads

Logan Paul is avid gamer. In many videos we can see his skills in certain games are comparable to pro players. He uses only one mouse, which is no strange, considering that he has top of the line Logitech G903 wireless mouse. Mouse has well established PMW3366 sensor which provides perfect tracking experience.

Keyboard

Logan Paul uses Corsair K95 RGB Platinum mechanical gaming keyboard, with Cherry MX Speed switches. This keyboard is also equipped with the RGB backlighting and it has brushed aluminum finish. However, this keyboard has some negative sides too, main one, it uses ABS plastic for keycaps instead of PBT.

Headphones / Headset

His headset is Astro Gaming A50 Wireless Dolby model. Since there are much better headsets available, especially if you separately buy headphones and microphone, we conclude that Logan Paul uses this headset from sponsoring reasons. It is worth to mention that this headset has lots of bad Amazon and Reddit reviews. We suggest that you avoid it.

Laptops / PC

Logan uses custom built PC for his needs. It consists of the following components:

  • AMD ThreadRipper 1920x
  • ASUS ROG ZENITH EXTREME Motherboard
  • 64 GB Corsair Vengeance (4x16GB)
  • Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 8 GB
  • 1 TB Samsung EVO 860 M.2 SSD
  • Thermaltake Pacific RL240 Water Cooling Kit
  • Thermaltake Tower 900 Case
  • Thermaltake Toughpower Grand RGB 1200W Platinum PSU

Beside this PC Logan has the Apple Macbook Pro 15 laptop.

Monitors / Displays

During the shopping of components for his PC he randomly picked LG IPS curved 21:9 ultrawide monitor.
