Patrick Simondiac also known as Patrick Starrr is a Filipino-American YouTuber, influencer and makeup artist whose YouTube channel counts almost 4.5 million subscribers. He was born on November 11, 1989, in Orlando, Florida. Patrick currently lives in Los Angeles, California.

Patrick uses many different cameras. Watching his videos we noticed that he uses a Canon EOS Rebel T5i DSLR and Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark II camera. Among others, he uses Sony Alpha a6000 and Canon PowerShot 340 vlogging cameras. Patrick also uses many different lenses, but we only figured one: Canon EF-S 18-55mm lens.

Since creating make-up tutorials, transformations and challenges make up most of his YouTube content, Patrick has to have perfect light. He uses quite expensive lighting kit Diva-Lite 415. At his studio, he also has many other lighting kits, such as light rings and umbrellas, but of unknown brands.

Laptop and software

We have noticed that he uses HP Chromebook 14 laptop as daily driver. We don’t know what computer does he use for video editing. Patrick uses Adobe Premiere Pro video editing software. He uses Adobe Photoshop image editing software.

According to the „SocialBlade.com“, YouTube channel titled „Patrick Starrr“ earns between $364 and $5.8K a month, which is between $4.4K and $69.8K a year. Since he has 4.7 million followers on Instagram and owns his makeup collection we are pretty sure that that isn’t his main income. His estimated net worth as of 2019 is between $1 and $5 million.

Biography

His YouTube journey began in February 2013, when he posted a video titled „My Morning Makeup Routine”. Eventually, his makeup tutorials, reviews, and tips gained more and more views on YouTube. Today, he is one of the most popular makeup artists not only on the YouTube but the other social networks and media.

The most popular videos on his channel are „KIM KARDASHIAN WEST MAKEUP TUTORIAL“, „THE POWER OF MAKEUP“ and „KATY PERRY MAKEUP TUTORIAL“. Patrick collaborated with many celebrities, such as Rihanna, Paris Hilton, Kris Jenner e.t.c. He also collaborates with cosmetics brands whose products promote on his social profiles.

He also launched his own makeup lines, with lipsticks, setting powders, eye shadows that became best sellers in many cosmetics stores all around the world.

Patrick is born and raised in Orlando, where his parents emigrated from the Philippines. He has two younger brothers named Peter and Paul. Peter works in his brother’s company. Patrick studied piano, and in high school started doing photography. The power of transformation afforded by Photoshop woke up his interest in makeup.

After graduated high school, he worked as a freelance photographer. He also worked at Pantera and MAC Cosmetics. He did his undergrad for nursing, but his love for makeup, photography, and YouTube was much stronger than the desire for a steady line of traditional work. Today, Patrick is one of the most famous male makeup artists on YouTube.

Starrr is gay and has never tried to refute his sexuality, but he is trying not to share his private life details with his subscribers and followers.
