SAS-ASMR is a Canadian ASMR artist and a YouTuber specialized in eating / chewing / whispering sounds and videos. She was born on July 20, 1982 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. She lives in Victoria, BC. Currently she is the world most popular ASMR artist with almost 6 million subscribers and over 1.2 billion views.
She has Thai roots but her parents moved to Canada before she was born. Before YouTube career she worked as bartender. Her younger sister, niece and nephew are also YouTubers known under name “N.E. Let’s Eat” and they make videos in the same genre. She is fluent in Thai. Sas is 5’4” (162 cm) tall.
SAS-ASMR is married, but her husband name is unknown. However, we can see him in some of her videos.
Almost nothing else is known about her private life and relationships. She keeps those far from the camera and ASMR forums, so things like her parents names and education are unknown.
Sas began her YouTube career in April 2016, when she uploaded “ASMR Sushi Dynamite Roll Mukbang” video, but things went really well and viral seven months later, in November 2016.
Beside her primary YouTube channel, she maintains her personal vlog channel.
Due the vast amount of food she eats while recording mukbang videos, everyone wonders how she keeps her figure. Sas told in one Q&A video, that having regular workout in form of cardio and light weightlifting is all she needs, however her trainings are more intense if she enters period when she eats more.
Considering how famous she is and amount of the subscribers, one would expect enormous amount of equipment and gear in her collection, but contrary to expectations she only has couple of high-quality items.
SAS-ASMR uses two mics. Zoom H6 in most of the videos and 3Dio PRO in the more recent ones.
In the begining she used Panasonic Lumix TZ7 camera, but eventualy she moved to Canon G7X II.
